(Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 4 2023
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that
for one shift between 1930 hours and 0600 hours, between Monday 10 July
2023 and Wednesday 12 July 2023, or when the works has been completed,
no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Newnham Road for its
entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The
closure is required for safety during lining works.

for one shift between 0930 hours and 1530 hours, between Monday 10 July
2023 and Wednesday 12 July 2023, or when the works has been completed,
no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Newnham Road for its
entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The
closure is required for safety during carriageway repair works
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that
between Friday 30 June 2023 and Friday 11 August 2023 the following
roads will be closed for days, nights, or both day and night for a
period of approximately one to three days or when the works have been
completed, to enable carriageway maintenance works to be undertaken. No
vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following
roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads
or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by
traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway
reconstruction and resurfacing works. In some cases, it may be
necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion
within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information
will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and
on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. Adverse

– Firestone Copse Road will be closed for its entire length. The
alternative route will be signposted locally.

Thursday 22 June 2023, or when the works has been completed, no person shall
cause any vehicle to proceed along Briddlesford Road between its junctions
with Country Park – Access Road and Gravel Pit Lane. The alternative route
will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during gully
works.

shift between 0800 hours and 1600 hours, between Monday 26 June 2023 and
Wednesday 28 June 2023, or when the works has been completed, no person
shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Firestone Copse Road between its
junctions with Newnham Lane and Havenstreet Main Road. The alternative route
will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during street
furniture and carriageway repair works.
